Why Callie Greenberg Started Own My Endo for Endometriosis Warriors

December 16, 2025

Please share a brief introduction and your business:

My name is Callie Greenberg. I am 41 years old, I live in Denver, CO, and I have spent 18 years in med device sales. It took 24 years of being dismissed and not believed before I was diagnosed with stage 4/5 Endometriosis when I was 37 years old. After 2.5 years of failed IVF rounds, I was forced to get a total hysterectomy at 39 years old. The disease robbed me of having biological children. I started Own My Endo and the Endo Warriors Podcast to bring awareness to this nasty disease. I want to use my platform to empower, educate, and provide them with the tools to advocate for themselves.

Did you always know you wanted to be an entrepreneur?

I always wanted to own my own business, but I never imagined that the company I would create would be the result of such a traumatic experience.

Take us back to when you launched? What was your marketing strategy?

The idea came to me about a year ago, but I didn't know what steps I needed to take. I reached out to someone I knew had many connections, and he gave me Monica Fullerton's number. Monica and I connected, and when we spoke, she just got me, and her excitement for my idea made me more excited and motivated to leap. I knew Monica would help me launch my business, scale it, and bring my ideas to fruition.

What accomplishments are you the most proud of to date in your business?

Every single step has been an accomplishment in my eyes. My website, podcast, and social media page are live, and my social media page is growing daily.

What is one thing you wish you had known when you started your Entreprenista journey?

I am just starting so I don't have an answer to this question yet.

When hiring, what is your go-to interview question?

What is your why?

What did you go before starting your own business?

Sales, Healthcare, Marketing, and lived experience

What made you take the leap to start your own business?

I felt an obligation to turn my pain into purpose. As a woman and someone who was dismissed and not believed, I want to help others so they don't have to go through what I went through. Women's healthcare is underfunded, under-researched, and 190 million women and girls suffer from Endometriosis. It takes an average of 7-10 years to be diagnosed, and I'm on a mission to help change that.

Do you have any recent wins?

My win is being here right now! The most challenging part is making the first move, and I have done that, so I am proud of what I have accomplished so far.

What's one app on your phone that you cannot live without?

Instagram. It allows me to connect with community.

Who are your customers?

Any women, teenager, or parent on their own Endometriosis journey no matter where they are in that journey.

What's your favorite business tool?

Ivorey- It provides everything in one spot to run a business

What's your approach to work-life balance?

I make it a priority to be with family and friends because they are my biggest supporters and give me motivation to keep going.

How do you avoid burn-out?

Whenever I feel overwhelmed or stuck, I take a break and give myself some time to remember why I am doing this.

What advice do you have for aspiring Entreprenistas?

Believe in yourself! Surround yourself with good people who lift you, inspire you, and want to see you succeed.
