Please share a brief introduction and your business:
Meet Dr. Rani Iyer — Entrepreneur, Author, Educator, and Conscious Living Pioneer.
I am Dr. Rani Iyer, a two-time PhD holder, published author, and founder of three purpose-driven businesses rooted in one shared mission: helping people reconnect with themselves, through food, and the living world around them.
My academic journey began in the rainforests of India's Western Ghats, where I earned my doctorate in Terrestrial Ecology studying how ecosystems sustain life. That deep reverence for nature led me to a second PhD in Education, focusing on Language, Literature, and Technology and how ecoliteracy shapes the minds of the next generation.
Science and soul form the foundation of everything I build.
Through The Sattvic Method Company, I guide individuals toward a consciousness-based lifestyle rooted in ancient Hindu philosophy, which is the same tradition that gave the world Ayurveda, yoga, and transcendental meditation. With over 600 hours of dedicated service, I offer online courses, workshops, sattvic cooking guidance, books, and a holistic healing framework designed to help people experience life joyfully and thrive in every area. Radiant Circle coaching program and Jivan Sutra life transformation tools are a part of this offering.
Through Grainful Blends, my women-owned small business, I handcraft nutritious grain and seed blends that make healthy eating simple, wholesome, and genuinely delicious. Every product is made with love and intention, because good food is good medicine.
And through Ecolabs at raniyer.com, I develop nature-inspired toys, games, and resources that reconnect children with the natural world while nurturing curiosity, creativity, and a lifelong love of the Earth.
These businesses are a part of one vision, expressed in three languages through spirit, nourishment, and learning. I am here to help people live more consciously, eat more intentionally, and raise a generation that knows how to belong to this planet.

Take us back to when you launched? What was your marketing strategy?
I have spent the last three years exploring and narrowing down my offerings which resulted in creating two unique programs and creating many books. The exploring has resulted in plenty of experiences and understanding my own skills, strengths and areas I needed to work on. I am still learning everyday.
Did you always know you wanted to be an entrepreneur?
Not really. I started as a way to live healthy, manage health, and build a community.
What accomplishments are you the most proud of to date in your business?
The accomplishment I’m most proud of is witnessing real transformation in people’s lives and knowing that our program created that possibility for them. When I look back, it’s not just the programs or milestones that stand out. It’s the individuals who came into our space feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or uncertain, and who gradually rediscovered clarity, confidence, and a sense of balance. Seeing that shift often times quietly, sometimes dramatically, all of which has been deeply emotional for me as a founder.
Creating our books was one of the first ways we shared this work with the world. They allowed us to put our philosophy into people’s hands, into their daily routines, into their homes and communities. But what truly brought the mission to life was the transformation participants began to witness through coaching in the Radiant Circle. Watching members support one another, hold themselves accountable, and grow together showed me the power of community in a way I will never forget.
Another milestone that means a great deal to me is the creation of the Jivan Sutra which was born from a desire to give people a simple, honest way to check in with themselves. A way to measure their well-being across the areas that truly shape a life: their health, their wealth, and their relationships. It gave people language and structure to understand where they were thriving and where they needed care and attention and coaching was available if they felt the need for clarity during their transformation process.
What makes me most proud is not that we built programs, wrote books, or created tools. It’s that these efforts became pathways for people to reconnect with themselves and move forward with renewed possibilities in their life. Seeing someone reclaim their energy, strengthen their relationships, or make a courageous change in their life, that is the moment when I feel the deepest sense of gratitude.
That, to me, is the real accomplishment. Not growth on paper, but growth in people.
What is one thing you wish you had known when you started your Entreprenista journey?
One thing I wish I had known when I started my Entreprenista journey is that entrepreneurship is truly an explorative journey, one that unfolds step by step, often in ways you cannot predict.
In the beginning, I felt pressure to have everything figured out perfectly: the perfect plan, the perfect timeline, the perfect path. But what I’ve learned is that building a business is less about certainty and more about curiosity, courage, and willingness to learn along the way. Some of the most meaningful opportunities, partnerships, and ideas emerged not because I had a clear roadmap, but because I stayed open to exploration.
I also wish I had known that growth often happens through experimentation. You try, you listen, you refine, and sometimes you begin again. That process isn’t a sign of failure, rather it is a sign that you are evolving.
Looking back, I would tell my earlier self to trust the journey more, embrace the unknown, and give myself permission to explore without needing all the answers upfront. Because entrepreneurship, at its heart, is not a straight line. It is a path of discovery. And that’s what makes it so powerful.
What did you do before starting your own business?
Doctoral degree and Research Administrator for an University
What made you take the leap to start your own business?
I wanted to create a single program or source that incorporates meditation, leadership, conscious creativity training, and Vedic health practices that help women access higher states of productivity and peace simultaneously.
Do you have any recent wins?
One of our biggest wins from the past year has been completing the full one-year journey of the Radiant Circle community and Devi Khadgamala chanting class. That year represented far more than a program as it became a shared commitment to transformation, self-awareness, and intentional living. Watching individuals stay the course for twelve months, reflect deeply, and grow in their understanding of themselves has been incredibly meaningful. It reminded me that lasting change doesn’t happen overnight; it happens through steady, consistent practice.
Another milestone worth celebrating is the continued impact of our books. Seeing them reach more people, spark conversations, and serve as daily companions in someone’s personal growth journey has been both humbling and energizing. There’s something powerful about knowing that words written with care are being used in real life on kitchen tables, in quiet mornings, and during moments when someone needs guidance.
We also took an important step forward by piloting the Jivan Sutra framework. This was a pivotal moment for us, because it allowed us to test, refine, and truly understand how this tool could help individuals measure and reflect on their well-being across health, wealth, and relationships. Piloting it gave us confidence that what we’re building is not just meaningful in theory, but practical and transformative in people’s everyday lives.
When I look at the past year, the real win is the depth of commitment we saw from our community and within ourselves. One year of transformation. One year of knowing. And one year of laying a stronger foundation for the journey ahead. That is something we’re deeply grateful to celebrate.
What's one app on your phone that you cannot live without?
WhatsApp. All my connections and communities live there.
Who are your customers?
Women who are looking for transformation in their life.
What's your top productivity tip?
My top productivity tip is simple: focus on one meaningful priority each day and finish it.
Early in my journey, I believed productivity meant doing more. More tasks, more meetings, more ideas. But over time, I realized that real progress comes from clarity, not busyness. When I started asking myself each morning, “What is the one thing that will truly move us forward today?” everything changed.
That single shift helped me protect my energy, reduce overwhelm, and create momentum. Whether it was refining a chapter in a book, supporting a member in the Radiant Circle, or improving a part of the Jivan Sutra framework, completing one meaningful task each day built confidence and consistency.
Productivity, for me, is no longer about speed. It is about intention. Small, focused actions done consistently create the biggest transformation over time.
What's your favorite business tool?
Claude AI and all its versions. I love it.
What's your approach to work-life balance?
My approach to work-life balance has evolved into what I now think of as work-life integration as creating harmony between the roles I hold rather than trying to separate them perfectly.
For a long time, I believed balance meant giving equal time to everything. But as a founder, a leader, and a person committed to growth, I learned that life moves in seasons. There are times when work requires more focus, and times when family, health, or rest must take priority. Instead of striving for perfection every day, I focus on staying present and intentional in whatever role I’m in.
Practically, this means protecting a few non-negotiables in the day where I set aside time for my spiritual routine, well-being, meaningful connection with loved ones, and moments of quiet reflection. These anchors keep me grounded and allow me to show up fully for both my work and my life.
What I’ve learned is that integration is less about dividing time and more about aligning values. When the work you do is rooted in purpose and your personal well-being is cared for, the two begin to support each other rather than compete.
That’s the rhythm I try to live by: be fully where you are, honor the season you’re in, and protect the practices that keep you centered.
How do you avoid burn-out?
I have a strong daily spiritual routine that keeps me from facing burnout.
What advice do you have for aspiring Entreprenistas?
My advice for aspiring Entreprenistas is simple but powerful: embrace the journey as an exploration, not a race.
It’s easy to get caught up in comparing yourself to others or feeling like you need everything figured out from the start. The truth is, the path of entrepreneurship is rarely linear. Some of the most valuable lessons and the most meaningful breakthroughs come from trying, failing, learning, and trying again.
Stay deeply connected to your purpose. Let it guide your decisions, shape your offerings, and fuel your resilience when challenges arise. Surround yourself with a supportive community that encourages growth and accountability, and remember to nurture your own well-being along the way.
Finally, be patient with yourself. Small, consistent steps build real momentum, and over time, they lead to transformation not just in your business, but in yourself as a leader, creator, and changemaker.
Dr. Iyer's work is a powerful reminder that the most transformative businesses are not built overnight but through steady, intentional practice and a deep commitment to purpose. We are so glad to have her in the Entreprenista community and cannot wait to see what she continues to build.
