Amanda Rose of Prestige Connections on Building a Matchmaking Business Rooted in Intention

Amanda Rose, founder and CEO of Prestige Connections, has built a deeply personal and purpose-driven business centered around meaningful connection. After navigating one of the most challenging seasons of her life, she transformed her own journey into a thriving matchmaking agency that helps individuals find real, lasting love. Starting with no roadmap and relying on organic marketing, Amanda leaned into resilience, intuition, and consistency to grow her business from the ground up. Today, her work blends strategy and heart, guiding clients toward relationships rooted in compatibility, values, and emotional readiness.

Please share a brief introduction and your business:

I’m a passionate matchmaker, entrepreneur, and mother of four who turned a deeply personal journey into a thriving business dedicated to helping others find meaningful love. After navigating heartbreak and rebuilding my life as a single mom, I followed a vision to create something bigger—combining intuition, strategy, and heart to guide successful, relationship-minded individuals toward genuine connection.

As the founder of my matchmaking agency, I specialize in working with high-quality men and women who are ready for real, lasting relationships. My approach goes beyond apps and algorithms—I focus on compatibility, values, and emotional readiness to create matches that truly align. My mission is simple: to help people date with intention, heal from the past, and build the kind of love they’ve always wanted.

Are you a mamaprenista?

My best tip for being a mamaprenista is time blocking. When your time is limited, intention is everything—and it’s amazing what a mom can get done in just a focused 15-minute block. Those small pockets of time add up quickly and can move your business forward in a big way.

Instead of waiting for long, uninterrupted hours (that rarely come), you learn to maximize what you do have. Time blocking creates structure, keeps you focused, and helps you stay consistent—even in the middle of a busy, full life. I also love to include my children in my business. They’re learning skills and life experiences that they won’t learn in school.

Take us back to when you launched? What was your marketing strategy?

When I launched the business I had no idea what I was doing and no money so I used social media and organic marketing to get the word out about my business.

Did you always know you wanted to be an entrepreneur?

Yes I always dreamed of being my own boss even as a child.

What accomplishments are you the most proud of to date in your business?

The accomplishment I’m most proud of is building a legacy in real time—side by side with my children. I didn’t just chase a dream, I built it from the ground up during one of the hardest seasons of my life, with my children as my “why.” Through every challenge, I kept going, showing them that courage, faith, and determination matter more than circumstances.

What makes this so meaningful is that it’s bigger than success—it’s the example I’m setting. I’m raising my boys to see what resilience looks like, to believe in what’s possible, and to understand that they have the power to create their own future. That, to me, is a legacy that will last for generations.

What is one thing you wish you had known when you started your Entreprenista journey?

One thing I wish I had known when I started my business journey is the true importance of investing in both my business and my personal growth. Growth doesn’t happen by accident—it requires intention, learning, and being willing to put resources into becoming the next version of yourself. That investment is what accelerates everything and allows you to reach the next level faster and with more clarity.

I also wish I had fully understood how critical it is to surround yourself with people who have high emotional intelligence and integrity. The environment you’re in will either elevate you or hold you back. Being around the right people not only sharpens your mindset, but also protects your energy, your standards, and ultimately the vision you’re working so hard to build.

When hiring, what is your go-to interview question?

My go-to approach when hiring isn’t a specific question—it’s intuition. I pay close attention to a candidate’s energy, personality, and how they naturally show up. Skills can be taught, but character, attitude, and alignment are much harder to change.

I also watch for attention to detail and how present they are in the conversation. The little things—how they communicate, how thoughtful their responses are, how they carry themselves—tell me everything I need to know. For me, hiring is about finding people who align with the standard, the vision, and the level of care my business is built on.

What did you do before starting your own business?

I was a stay at home mom with a background in advertising, magazine development and insurance.

What made you take the leap to start your own business?

I knew I had two choices during my divorce either let the divorce destroy me or create the best possible life for me and my children. I chose to take the leap and create financial and time freedom for my family.

Do you have any recent wins?

One of my most exciting recent wins has been being named a top celebrity matchmaker of the decade—an honor that reflects not only the success of my business, but the impact of the work I do. It’s incredibly rewarding to be recognized at that level, especially knowing how far I’ve come from starting with no roadmap and building everything from the ground up.

What's one app on your phone that you cannot live without?

My must have app is my email app. I can communicate with everyone related to my business even if I didn’t have my CRM.

Who are your customers?

Single men and women ages 25 and up

What's your top productivity tip?

My top productivity tip is time blocking on your calendar because it forces you to be intentional with your time instead of reactive to everything around you. When you assign specific blocks for focused work, client calls, and even personal time, you eliminate decision fatigue and create structure in your day—so you’re not constantly wondering what to do next.

It also helps you protect your energy and stay disciplined. Instead of multitasking or getting pulled in a hundred directions, you’re fully present in each task, which leads to better results in less time. For me, it’s been a game-changer in balancing building a business while raising my children, because it ensures that what matters most always has a place on my calendar.

What's your favorite business tool?

My favorite business tool is Keap! It holds all my clients information, leads, automates emails, website inquiries and I can make calls from it. It’s an all in one business tool that helps keep my business organized.

What's your approach to work-life balance?

My top productivity tip is time blocking on your calendar because it forces you to be intentional with your time instead of reactive to everything around you. How do you avoid burn-out?

I’m very intentional about creating time and blocking out days just for myself and family. I refuse to take work calls or emails during those times.

What advice do you have for aspiring Entreprenistas?

My advice for aspiring Entreprenistas is to stay deeply focused on your vision and refuse to give up—no matter the obstacles. There will be challenges, setbacks, and moments of doubt, but those are part of the journey, not signs to stop. The women who succeed are the ones who keep going when it’s hard and stay committed to what they’re building.

Trust that your vision was given to you for a reason. Stay aligned with it, keep growing, and don’t let temporary struggles distract you from long-term success. If you stay consistent and resilient, you will create something far greater than you ever imagined.

Amanda’s story is a powerful example of what it looks like to turn adversity into purpose and build something that not only supports your life, but creates lasting impact for others. Her commitment to staying focused, protecting her time, and leading with intention has shaped both her business and the legacy she’s building for her family.
