Are you a mamaprenista?
Yes I am a Mamaprenista. My best advice is to treat both your business & family like priorities, set clear boundaries, schedule intentional time for each & remember that asking for help isn’t a weakness. It’s a strategy for thriving, not just surviving.
Take us back to when you launched? What was your marketing strategy?
When I first launched my business, my marketing strategy was all about showing up where my audience was—networking events, social media, and word-of-mouth—but it didn’t always go perfectly as planned. I quickly learned that consistency, relationship-building, and authentic storytelling were what really moved the needle.
Did you always know you wanted to be an entrepreneur?
Yes, I initially wanted to open up my own salon suites. Ended up working independently for years after working for chain salons. Through that journey it shaped by opportunity, vision, and saying yes to the right moments.
What accomplishments are you the most proud of to date in your business?
Biggest accomplishment will be on April 8th. My Podcast will be 5 years old over 105 episodes.
What is one thing you wish you had known when you started your Entreprenista journey?
I wish I had known that building a business isn’t just about hustle. It’s about strategy, consistency, and surrounding yourself with the right people who believe in your vision.
When hiring, what is your go-to interview question?
My go-to question is: “How do you handle unexpected challenges during an event, and can you give me a recent example?”—because it shows me their problem-solving skills and reliability under pressure.
What did you go before starting your own business?
Still work a 9-5, been in the beauty industry for almost 28 years as a hairstylist and lash artist.
What made you take the leap to start your own business?
Robbin didn’t initially set out to start a podcast, but when someone saw the vision in her, saying yes became the best decision of her life. Which has opened so many doors. As the host of the Mamapreneur Podcast, she empowers women entrepreneurs and moms to grow their businesses and build meaningful connections. Her passion for giving back led her to found Team Robbin’s Divas Cancer Foundation, inspired by her own journey as a nine-year cancer survivor.
Do you have any recent wins?
Last year was a busy time. End of 2025, I launched Team Robbin’s Divas Cancer Foundation to support women who are currently in cancer treatment. Also, with my monthly networking events, I grew my community of women & mom entrepreneurs through impactful events and meaningful connections via my Facebook group-Mamapreneur Tribe.

What's your favorite business tool?
My favorite business tool right now is HoneyBook. I’m still learning all its features, but it’s super user-friendly and makes managing contacts and payments so much smoother.
