Please share a brief introduction about yourself and your business

Anna Holtzman is an Authentic Visibility Coach for Entrepreneurs, helping high-level creatives and thought leaders show up powerfully—without burnout or self-betrayal. Before coaching, she spent a decade as a reality TV editor for MTV, mastering the art of storytelling and what truly makes people captivating on screen. Now, as a licensed therapist trained in Pain Reprocessing Therapy, she brings a deep understanding of the nervous system to help entrepreneurs break through fear, self-doubt, and visibility resistance. Anna’s work is about more than being seen—it’s about showing up as yourself and letting that be your superpower.

Who are your customers?

Entrepreneurs, Creatives and Coaches

What was your background prior to starting your own business?

I'm the queens of career pivots! I started off in the field of architecture, then became an editor at Architecture magazine in my 20s, spent my 30s editing reality TV shows for clients like MTV and CBS, and in my 40s became a licensed therapist and coach certified in Pain Reprocessing Therapy. Not I use my nervous system expertise to help entrepreneurs, creatives, and coaches break free of the fear of visibility so they can show up as their authentic selves and make their boldest impact!

What made you take the leap to start your own business?

It was a no-brainer. I've always wanted to be my own boss. Especially after working as a video editor for 10 years and always having a producer breathing down my neck (no offense, I love my producer pals! Just hate being told what to do, lol.)

Did you always know you wanted to be an entrepreneur?

Yes!

Take us back to when you first launched your business; what was your marketing strategy to get the word out and did it go as planned?

Making my Instagram account public felt like a big deal after being trained as a licensed therapist to keep everything private. But I used my therapeutic tools, like graded exposure, to move through the fear and into joy, and now I LOVE marketing—and I love helping my clients work through their own fears of visibility and showing up authentically.

What is the biggest challenge you have encountered along the way so far and what have you learned from it?

Fear will show up in so many forms—some obvious and others sneaky. Learning to recognize these fears and meet them with curiosity has been my biggest challenge and has led to my most impactful growth—as a person, a coach, and a business owner.

What accomplishment are the most proud of to date in your business?

Taking a big bold leap to pivot from the chronic pain therapy and coaching business I'd spent 5 years building to follow my heart into my business's next evolution: Using all my experience and expertise to help other entrepreneurs, coaches, and creatives to unlock the barriers to showing up fully and fulfilling their purpose!

Do you have any recent wins from the last year that you'd like to celebrate with our community?

YES! Since pivoting, I've attracted the dreamiest clients and am in love with supporting their growth and watching them flourish!

What's next for your business? What can we expect to see over the next few years?

Working with top-level impact makers, publishing my first book, growing my podcast and expanding my business with group mastermind programs and in-person retreats.

What is your top productivity tip?

When you start feeling distracted and it becomes hard to focus, STOP PUSHING. Take a break and reset. Pausing to recharge, even in small ways, will make you so much more productive than pushing yourself when your tank is empty.

On the flip side, how do you avoid burnout?

Schedule fun! Seriously. If you're anything like me (and most of us struggle with this), you are probably obsessing about your business 24/7. It's human but it's not healthy. Having fun will fuel your business and protect you from burnout. So schedule it in!

What is your approach to work-life balance / integration?

I don't see work and life as separate—each fuels the other, so I know that I need to make time for all the pieces that add up to a thriving business and life. (But I'm human! And I have my own coach who helps me stick to my boundaries and schedule in that recharge and relaxation time :)
