Meet Entreprenista 100 Changemaker of the Year, Dr. Sophia Yen

The Entreprenista 100 Changemaker of the Year award, presented by Chase Ink, celebrates a woman business leader who uses their platform and influence to create positive change and progress within their community and beyond.

Our Changemaker of the Year is Dr. Sophia Yen, the Co-founder & Chief Medical Officer at Pandia Health. Her doctor-only provider team of OB/GYN, adolescent, and family medicine specialists is the most highly-rated women’s birth control service online.

As the only women-founded and women-led company in this space, Pandia has 82% retention for birth control delivery achieved by personalizing care that recommends the best medications for each woman’s biology. Pandia has expanded beyond birth control to support women’s acne, sexual health, and menopause.

Raising funds in the primarily male-dominated world of venture capital has been difficult, but Sophia sees her status as a doctor and mother as assets that make her well-suited to run her company.

“I'm proud to have helped bring expert women's online healthcare to wherever women have internet and a mailbox,” she says.

Congratulations to our Changemaker of 2023, Sophia!
