Describe your business in a few words:

I am a Doctor of Clinical Nutrition and an expert in using nutrition to change your relationship with alcohol. I recently shifted from working as more of a "generalist" in nutrition and functional medicine, to focusing on my passion. I believe nutrition is an emerging way in to the discussion around alcohol use in our society.

What was your background prior to starting your own business?

I've worked mostly in start up organizations -- from small nutrition and wellness centers, to startups in the food and health space. I've always loved the 'self-starter' mentality. Working in successful startups gave me the motivation and confidence I needed to feel like I could do it, too.

Did you always know you wanted to be an entrepreneur?

Yes! I've always felt called to do something "different".

What have you achieved recently that you'd like to celebrate with our community?

I recently signed a book agent and am working on a book proposal that will be pitched in early 2022!

What's next for your business? What can we expect to see over the next few years?

Over the next few years, I am planning to grow an empire around the idea of nutrition to help change our relationship with alcohol. So many of us are locked into an unhealthy balance with our alcohol intake, and my hope is to inspire successful women to find new ways to manage stress and indulge in self-care!
